John began his real estate career with RE/MAX in 1997, after a 31 year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).  Since that time, John has made a point of continuing his real estate education by completing specialized training in real estate sales and dealing with relocating clients from all parts of the country and internationally.  He has kept up to date with the technical and internet requirements of today's fast paced market and offers his clients the most current methods of communicating with him.  John believes that a well informed client will make the right decisions and he strives to ensure that all of his clients, both buyers and sellers, have the most current data and a good analysis of the information.  Throughout his real estate career, he has been a consistent award winner as recognized by the Winnipeg Realtor's Association and RE/MAX International.

Besides a busy real estate career, John has a number of outside interests that he enjoys.  A long time Rotarian, he was the Charter President of the Winnipeg-Charleswood Rotary Club and is an active member of the Club to this day.  Since his retirement from the RCMP, John has served the RCMP Veteran's Association (Manitoba Division) as it's president and secretary and continues as a strong supporter and participant in their activities.
